Lost Network Connection

I have a 4 machine peer to peer XP Pro network with 1 machine being used as
a dedicated fileserver. Last night a storm passed through and my 3 machines
are no longer connected to the dedicated XP Pro fileserver. How can I
reestablish the connection?

Hi Sleepin,

if you haven't added any programs between last night and now; do a "system
restore" on the 3 machines.
All Programs>Accesories>System Tools>System Restore. Using a time and point
from yesterday. That should take care of it.

Hi GL,

I tried System Restore but still get Network not Connected (or similar) when
I click on My Documents. Is there a way to reconnect as though I were
establishing the connection for the first time?

Hi again,

did you try deleting them, running down your system(s) and then running them
up again? That may do the trick.

By "running down" if you mean shut down, I did do that. I'm not sure what
you mean by "deleting them".
