Lost multi-boot ability to boot XP on 2nd partition

I blew away my boot.ini by formatting my C drive partition, running partition
magic from the D drive partition under Windows XP pro. I was finally able to
load a fresh XP Pro on the C partition. However, can't figure out how
include/get back to XP Pro on the D partition, as a boot option.

You simply follow the logic that is already apparent in c:\boot.ini:

[boot loader]
timeout=10
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional (C)" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional (D)" /fastdetect

try a KB307545 first before the repair install, it is a hive recovery, if you
do a repair install first you can't do a 307545 afterwards.

I never suggested a "Repair installation" - I think it is inappropriate
and way over the top.
