Lost Mail

I just reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium. I did not think it would
delete the email stores from the previous install since XP did not. I cannot
find the old emails. Is there any way to find them or are they gone?

You should always backup important data when doing major operations
like that.

When reinstalling Vista, it will usually save existing data in a folder
named Windows.old. Look for it on your hard drive.

I have kooked in this folder without any luck. Can you point me to the
corwct location for the mail store?

Look for
Windows.old\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\
Then have Windows Mail do an import:
File, Import, Messages, Microsoft Windows Mail 7,
and point it to that folder. If it complains, try pointing to the
sub-folder Local Folders.
