Lost mail

My computer crashed the other day and now i lost my email's from outlook and
i need them for my busines. I need to get those email's back that came in for
email (e-mail address removed) from like 1st of october. What can i do to get
those back? Really need them back fast.

Outlook? This is a Vista Mail group, Outlook is not part of Vista, but a
component of Office.

If this was a crash the required a destructive restore of your PC, youve

the thing was the computer didn't really crashed but the motherboard got
fried so bought new pc and let the guys copy all the data of my old pc into
the new pc.
So all the data and email's should also be on this pc i am on now. But i
can't find it anywhere is it possible it doesn't recognizes it because i
first had windows xp and now vista or did they just copy it wrong? thnx
already

This newsgroup is dedicated to the Windows Mail program.
You should probably ask in an Outlook newsgroup where the
Outlook experts hang out: microsoft.public.outlook.general .

Depends what exactly they copied, the default locations of the outlook data
file is shown in the link I gave.
But that doesnt detract from the facts that backups of data should be
implimented, particularly relevent for a business
There are any number of backup solutions, including a free MS one for
Outlook alone, my prefered solution being Acronis TI
