lost mail attachment

Hi
I opened a Word document attached to a Outlook Express mail document,
modified it and then save it. When I tried to open it a second time I could
not find it anymore.
I can see hidden and system files, but there is no Content.IE5 folder under
C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, where
I knew that temporary files are kept.

The folder you name contains temporary ***Internet*** files but
not other temporary files. Best to repost your question in an
Outlook Express newsgroup - that's where you will find the
experts on this subject.

Next time save the attachment to a known file name, then edit that saved
file.
