try this; when your booting up press f8 to boot in

safemode you should see an administrator profile, by
default this is not password protected, click on it and
you can change your password from here or delete profiles,
i recomend you add a password to the administrator profile
because anyone can change your password from here, when
you've done this (if it works which it should) you can
create a floppy disk to be used if you forget you password,
(follow the steps when creating your password) BUT KEEP IT
SAFE ANYONE CAN USE THIS!.(THIS WORKS WITH WINDOWS XP HOME
EDITION)
