Lost linkage between birthdays in Contacts and Calendar

The birthdays set up in Contacts used to automatically appear as Appointments
in Calendar. Now they don't. Didn't notice it till I missed a birthday, and
have no idea what happened or when that may have caused this. I did move to a
new machine several months back, and I had to install new Office 2007 and
import addressbook from my old machine.

How can I restor this linkage?
