Lost IE Links

Using XP Pro, latest IE 6.0...

I had to reinstall XP Pro after a disk crash, and to my surprise all my
links (i.e. addresses of web sites I had added to Favorites, Links) in IE
were gone.

1) Can I retrieve them?
2) What folder are they stored in on the hard disk and how do I back them
up?
3) Can I change the folder they are stored in so I can put them with other
data that is backed up regularly?

Thanks!

Hi Bob,

Look in c:\Document and Settings\<your old user account>\Favorites. You can
copy the favorites to your new your new user account under documents and
settings.

Thanks, that was a big help.

Is there a way to change the default folder these are saved in? I have a
data folder structure that is backed up regularly, and it would be helpful
if it were in that.
