Lost Hibernate & Standby after XP-reinstall

I have lost the ability to hibernate and standby after having to reinstall XP
Pro. I have checked the power options and the hibernate function is NOT
shown. Is there a download or something so I can get this back on my laptop.

Thanks

I install all the system and device drivers.

Hi Goose,

Depends. If you have a preinstalled system, they should be on a CD supplied
by the manufacturer, or you can download them from the makers web site. For
a system using a retail disk (built it yourself), you would get them from
the CD's included with the motherboard and various installed devices.
