Lost Hibernate option

The hibernate tab on my Power Options dialog has gone away.

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers,
working on another problem. Next time I started to put
the computer in Hibernate, the option was gone from the
shutdown menu. I went to Control Panel/Power Options, and
the tab isn't even there.

I also had a couple of system crashes related to my PDA
cradle around this time, so it's possible one of those
messed something up.

How can I get this back?

Thanks,
Randy

Hi Randy,

You need to find the video driver that you were using before. I suspect
that the power options have changed due to the change in the video driver.

The problem is, I'm pretty sure I reinstalled the same
driver as I had before. I don't know how to confirm that,
but it was from the CD that came with my video card.

If the video driver controls access to ACPI functionality,
where can I get a driver that provides that?

Thanks,
Randy
