If you have an original XP install CD (not a recovery CD):

1) Click on Start
2) Click on "Control Panel"
3) Click on "Add or Remove Programs"
4) Click on "Add/Remove Windows Components" on the window
5) Click on "Accessories and Utilities"
6) Make sure a check mark is in the square ([]) next to Games.

or

7) If a check mark is in the square ([]) next to Games, then click on
Details.
8) Check off the Games you want.

After having Windows XP reinstalled, I have lost the games file (Free Cell,
Solitaire, etc. that were installed when I bought the computer). When I
click on Games, nothing happens. Yesterday, I got a message that said
"Empty". Is there anything I can do to retrieve the games file? I am a
senior citizen and have zero expertise with computers. I need a step by step
approach. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
