Lost Files

While downloading virus update patches for Sasser, I had to reboot. Got stuck in a loop of rebooting. It would start up and 10 seconds later it would start over again. Used system recovery cd's. I had to repartition because I lost my D drive. I am assuming all of my files are lost. Any chance to recover? Windows XP on Sony Vaio
 
Please, do yourself a favor - don't buy Sony computers anymore..

Open your Browser, enter "data recovery" or "formatted drive recovery" in the Search field and press Enter key

P.S. I would attach the drive to another box during recovery process
