Lost File Details.

I like to list all the files in "My Documents" in "details" mode and
have always been able to do so until now. Suddenly, not only have the
details disappeared but the column headings have become Artist, Album,
Duration (etc) - more appropriate to a media list than one of MS Word
files. What can I do to get them back, please?
I use XP Home edition.

A few hours after sending the above post I discovered the answer. I
write it here for fellow-sufferers.
In Windows Explorer select View -->Select details.
On Tools menu -->Folder options-->ViewTab, then click button "Apply to
all folders."

Hope this will help others.
