Ad-ware SE Plus, or its adwatch detected a problem with my system registry. I
guess I must have clicked the wrong button, by now I can only access few
shortcuts - w/ a prompt that states that an in particular file does not have
a program associated with it. I can't use help and support, open executables,
add or remove programs in the CP, etc. Please help to at least get me back
where I can open executables. I plan to upgrade to XP Pro, but I can't run
certain chipset identity utilities, SCSI utilities, etc, that I need to use
prior to this due to my
problem. Thank you!

Thank you. However, since I can't even open help and support right now, will
you please give me direction on how to do this? Anything that's an
executable, I can't open. Thanks again.

If you can get into AdAware you may be able to "Undo" the
changes from there

Hope this helps,
Milt

Adware, being an executable, won't open either. I can't open help to do a
system restore, or any fix program that everyone is pointing me to because
they are all executables as well. Thanks for helping me.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
