lost everything but cd

help!! i lost the box, the receipt, the folder the cd come in, and all i have
is the cd. i realized that i had lost them when i was trying to install
windows on my new computer. i have seen the lost product key help page, and i
dont have my proof of purchase, so am i screwed? i bought it, i have the cd.
what do it do?

Nope, not really but then again pretty much. However, installing it on
another PC won't help much either.

I realize this is just a "bit late", but I usually write the
key on the install CD's with a sharpie so as long as
I can at least find the CD, I have the key (this has
saved me several times - especially if it is something
where the key was emailed etc).

Here is a thought, go to sleep wake up and look in the mirror again
