Lost email addresses when importing address book

I was able to import my 700+ contacts into Outlook. For some reason,
everything was imported except for email addresses. What did I do wrong?
 
How could we know when you did not tell us what you did?
We cannot read minds.
Be brutally detailed in your response or do not use newsgroups to ask for
