Lost dropdown box function when change to 'Unprotect document'

Hi,

I tried to copy a page from word file. When I changed the file to
‘Unprotected document’, all the dropdown list option is gone. I am able to
copy the page with dropdown list, but there is no button there at all. How
could I fix this? Thank you very much!
 
It should still be there.... Click on the little padlock on the toolbar and
see if they "show up" again. They usually don't in unprotected mode...
