Lost drive access

G

George

I've somehow managed to lose access to my IDE floppy, cd &
zip drives. Example, for floppy I get pop up window "A:\is
not accessible" "incorrect function"
I've tried device manager / trouble shooter & device is
functioning properly. I've also checked BIOS & devices Are
listed ok. What can I do? (Windows 2000 SP4)

Usual reason is that your Anti-virus program is preventing access.
Please look up "Drive x:\ is not accesible" error message at the Norton
AV web site for more info about fixing this.
