Lost desktop settings

We have three users on this computer and one of them lost all destop setting
yesterday. Newer computer and have not yet backed it up so can't restore to
another day. HELP!!

If you haven't turned it off you CAN use system restore. Restore points are
created without any input from you. That is what they are for.

Go to Start | search

Type in system restore

Highlight it in the top panel and press enter. Choose a point from before
the time the problem became evident.
