Lost copy of a file

Hi
When I create a file with the explorer copy / paste mechanism I saw the
file in the explorer,but when I make the power off and then power on
(without the Turn Off mechanism) ,it happens that the copy of the file
doesnt exist.
What could be the reason.

Are you using EWF?

If yes that's the reason, becuase the system is protected.
