Lost CD

I have lost my xp home cd and need to load the backup
utility. How can I get a new CD or load the backup
utility from somewhere else? I do still have my
certificate of authenticity

you should contact your mfg. and ask for the recovery cd's
you can go to www.support.microsoft.com and locate your
mfg. phone #. Some manufacturers like Dell, Gateway etc.
partition the OS on the harddrive, so call them and they
can assist you ;-)

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

If it was an OEM license, and someone has removed/destroyed the
label, you should contact you the computer's manufacturer.
