I upgraded from ME to XP on my daughters HP Notebook and now she has no cd burner software. What happened? Is there no burner software in XP home edition? How do I fix this? Thanks

Don't know what you had, probably would not have worked
with XP. There is native burning built in or re-load what
you had and get a up-grade or buy a new program.

$16.00 for this and buy a $2.00 cable and throught it
away.

Hi,

WinXP Home has its own simplistic CD burner, read up on using it here:
