hi, just hoping that someone can tell me how to get my Windows Media Player
Icon back (the one with the green arrow) I don't know how it happened but it
has gone and now all I have is just the plain 'folder' icon with the very
small icons on it, not the one that was there originally when I brought a
quick icon onto the desktop for it. how do I get it back???

Right click desktop New>Create Shortcut

"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /prefetch:1

(Don't know if the /prefetch:1 switch is needed. I copied the path from
my Quick Launch icon properties.)

Just click "Start", "programs", right-click on Media Player, then run cursor
over "send to"; left-click "desktop shortcut"
