Lost (almost) all Calendar Items In OL 2007 - ideas?

Hello, using Outlook from MSOffice 2007 fed from an SBS2003 and
Exchange... I have been playing with syncing my mac systems to the
info on the Exchange server (though i think this detail is not
important). And i woke up to find everything in my calendar was gone
except for the items on THAT DAY.

Now, i had published my cal to a webcal that the macs were subscribed
to, but its my belief the macs arent allowed to modify the OL07
published calendars... and why would it anyway? Also, i have used
the .mac system to publish a calendar so that when using a mac i could
send items back to the pc with Outlook. I have since unsubscribed.

Something odd about this --- when you add a contact, and you put their
birthday in their contact info it shows up on the Calendar. But all
the birthdays inserted from contacts previous to this have
disappeared... but if i add a new one they appear. If i open a
contact that was already in place, and then Save them again, it
doesn't put them back in the calendar. I'm hoping I hid things
somehow...

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas or tricks or setting i should
check? Thanks?

Hello there,
I just had the exact same problem, and I was able to recover fully.

First of all, turn off Sync Services on your Mac. I believe that is causing the problem.

Then, open Outlook on your PC, connect to the Exchange server, and open your calender.

Click on Tools>Recover Deleted Items

You should see all your deleted appointments in that window.

Click "Select All", and then "Recover Selected Items".

After 2 minutes or so, you'll have your calendar back!

Good luck!
