lost administrators account password

What are the procedures for recovering a lost
adminstrator on an 2000 machine? I am the administrator
here at my company, but this machine was brought to me
from another location and I have no idea how to get into
it.

Search this newsgroup using groups.google.com ... This is answered routinely

You can reset the administrator password by deleting the
SAM file . You can use the boot disks for WIn 2K to get
access to the SAM file. Rename the file or delete it once
you get access to the file. Once done restart the machine.
The password sets itslf to a blank password.Hope this
helps.
