Find out if the vendor can re-install the windows XP Home again for you. If
they charge only a nominal fee just pay for it. But if you are an
experienced user, then re-install yourself. Or get a an experienced friend
to do it for you. Make sure you use the CDRom that came with your Notebook
computer.
What the heck. Re-install it yourself and if it doesn't work then SOS the
vendor or friend.
