Lost the address bar at top of internet explorer. Have
restored windows XP to a date when bar was there but no
help. Gateway computer. Called Gateway and they said had
corrupt files in internet explorer to download the new
one. Before download is done a message that I have a
newer version and stops.
How in the world do I get the address bar back and keep
it?
It is checked when I right click, but no help.
Thank anyone who can tell me how to slove.

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.
