Lost ability to switch users; can only log off

A few weeks ago I detected a virus and had a very hard time getting rid of
it. Now I have lsot the ability to "swith users" and it forces each user to
log off. Also, I lost my ability to run msconfig and .... I continue to get
aol IM log on window to pop up and because I cant get into msconfig, I can
shut it off. HELP....PLEASE. Thanks, Brian

To restore switching users try going to Control Panel > User Accounts, then
click the link that says 'Change the way users log or off', then chech the
appropriate checkbox.

Also, check your services to be sure that "Fast user swiching" is on and
"Terminal Services Service" is on.
