Lost ability to computer browse

i have 3 winxp prosp1 desktops & a xpprosp1 acting as a
file & print server. Up till Sun they all could browse
the shares on ea other. On Sat i took my comp off the
network & over to another LAN. I got it back on my
network & everything seemed fine. Yesterday i went to
print & was told my print pooler wasnt started. i
checked the services & it was fine. i then went to browse
the network but could not see any computers. i can see
everything fine from the others. i read a couple KB's so
i tried turning off/on client for MS & File & Print
Share. I can now see the other computers, but when i
click on them i get the "Workgroup Name is not
accessible. You may not have permission to use this
network resource". But again, from anothe computer i can
access the share.

Anyone have any other ideas of what it could be? I've
stopped/restarted my computer browser service & verified
netbios over tcp/ip is on. It only seems to be impacting
my computer, not sure why moving it from one network to
another & back can cause so many issues.

any firewalls running on that pc that may be blocking
access in or out? Does ipconfig show sensible settings
compared to the other machines on your LAN? can you ping
the other pc's by name and ip address, and can they ping
you? Could you have picked up any viuses/spyware from the
other network - have you run an up to date scan since the
problems started? Are you logging on to your network as
opposed to the other (if it's cached any credentials for
the other workgroup)

nopthing has changed on any of the computers. the only
that that changed was i disabled file & print sharing
when i had my computer off my secure network. i can ping
all computers so i know i can reach them, & the other
computers all browse shares just fine. i ran virus scan
2x, nothing found. here is an error i get from event
viewer when i boot up.

I have checked \\storage (file & print server). it has
netbios over tcp/ip enabled, & everything else looks
fine.
