loss of font colors when transferring Excel chart to PowerPoint

When transferring Excel chart to PowerPoint as a Picture (Windows Metafile),
I lose the font colors - i.e. the fonts revert to black. I've tried all the
different "paste special" options, and none work except for bitmap, but it
comes out fuzzy.

Powerpoint uses the default printer to determine how to paste the charts.
Change your default printer to a color printer and your chart fonts will
come back. (Don't have a color printer? Don't worry, you only need to have
the drivers installed and the printer selected as the default for the copy
paste to work.)
