Hi everyone, we're having an issue with one of our
laptops. Scenario:
1. The laptop is connected to the internet via a
wired broad band connection and has full connectivity.
2. The user opens a VPN to our corporate site for
email and shared folder access.
3. All folders and email applications are closed and
the user disconnects the VPN
4. After the VPN is disconnected all connectivity is
lost to the internet.
The weird part is that the user can re-establish a VPN
connection and use the shared folders but still cannot
access the internet. The computer is showing a valid IP
address and for all intensive purposes seems fine. The
only way I've been able to re-establish the internet
connection is run System Restore to before the VPN was
originally connected.
