Loss of connection to internet with SP2 installed

Since installing XP SP2, I loose the intenet connection
and must turn everything off and reboot to regain it. I
am running a LAN that is connected to a LinkSys router
via cable. If I look at network connections, it looks
like the lan is still connected, but I cannot access the
server thur this machine.

HELP
