Whenever I generate endnotes, Word always throws a
horizontal rule. I would like to get rid of it. Are
there any white papers or other guidance on dealing with
endnotes, especially on getting rid of this undesired
horizontal line. -jim

In Normal view, choose View | Footnotes. From the list on the toolbar,
choose Footnote Separator. Select it and press Delete. It will still take up
space; to remove this as well, format the font to 1 pt and the paragraph
line spacing to 1 pt as well.
