Losing scroll bars in Access 2003

Hi all -

I've just discovered why my scroll bars in text boxes used on Access 2003
forms have been disappearing - if the text has any margins, the scroll bars
are not visible.

Get rid of any margins & they come back!

I'm not sure if this is documented - I had a search but nothing found so
thought I would share it with you.

If's there's a work-around (text looks better with a small margin) I would
appreciate hearing.

Yes, Chris. This is a known problem in Access 2000, 2002, and 2003.

AFAIK, it has not been fixed, i.e. have to choose internal margins or
scrollbars, but not both.

THANKS YA'LL FOR SHARING THIS !!!!
I have been fighting with the stupid "ghost" scroll bars for days (YES I had
margins on the text boxes). Finally an explanation.
PS: I'm sure Bill hasn't slept well these past few nights thinking about
this problem... ha ha ha ha
I'm sure if the problem was with their $$$ MARGINS instead they'd have had
it fixed by now. Must be nice to be a "monopoly"....
