losing right side of page when printing

Often when I print from the internet, I lose the right
side of the page. Is there anyway to modify something so
this doesn't happen?

Depends on your printer.

The problem occurs when the page is encoded to be viewed (usually) in
1024x7688 due to most people having larger monitors (17"+).... this size is
too big to fit on a letter sized page.

You can either:

Print in landscape mode
Contact the Webmaster and ask them to re-encode the webpage (yeah, right,
sure they'll do this just for you)
If the printer software has the option to 'fit to page' use this, it
'shrinks' the whole image so that it will fit
