Losing Print format when copying wrksht to wrksht or wkbook to wkb

We have a file with about 30 worksheets in it. Each is a "quickie" quote and
when we save it (to make changes or for history), we copy the entire
worksheet to a new file, and save it with a new name.

The new file doesn't bring with it the print parameters, and we have to
start over (inserting a picture, custom heading, page layout, etc).

How can we get the print parameters from the first file ("generic quotes")
to the 2nd file ("John Smith's quote file")?

MK,
Have you tried this:
1) Setting up a template
or
2) Saving the first file "generic quotes" as a Save As "John Smith's quote
file"

I thought about "save as" as an option; but then, I'd have to delete all the
worksheets (but the 1 or 2 relevant ones) from the new file (or every quote
would have 30 sheets, and I wouldn't know which one the customer was
interested in 30-60 days down the road. I can try the template idea. Would
I insert the worksheet into the template file - then save the template file
as "John Smith"?

How are you copying the worksheet to the new workbook?

If you right-click on the tab and "move or copy" and "create a copy" to new
book. the print settings should go with the worksheet.
