losing minimized windows

When working between two websites:

I open 1st website; minimize it; open 2nd website; the
1st website disappears. No longer at the bottom to
maximize.

Also, when viewing that first website, if I open another
from my desktop, the first ones disappears. Windows do
not open over one another.

Anybody know the remedy for this??

What exactly do you mean by "open"? Are you running a new instance of
Explorer or linking to a new website? Also, what happens when you press
Alt-Tab?
