Jim

I have several WindowsXP SP1 computers that are exhibiting the same
problem. After hours of being connected onto an IP network the computer
suddenly loses it's connection. I can't ping I can't renew the IP address
from the DHCP server. Nothing. I restart and it works again for a while.
I removed all the spyware I can find. I still have the same problem. Many
other computers on the same network are working fine. Does anyone have any
ideas?

Thanks.

I don't know how many computers you are talking here but
try assigning static IP's to each computer from
LOCAL AREA CONNECTION > Properties > (scroll down) TCP/IP
Properties

Take off obtain and click "use the following ip address.

or

Roll back to SP1.
