losing emails from my inbox..

I have a second email account thru aol. shows up as an imap folder. the
folder does not contain a deleted files folder and emails drop off after 7
days. What outlook setting do I have incorretly set that unintentionally
cleans off emails downloaded from aol.

While viewing that folder, click View>Arrange By>Current View and choose
"Messages" instead of "Last Seven Days".

Likely the view is filtered to show only mail from the last 7 days. Click on
View > Current View and select Messages instead of Last Seven Days.
