Lookup 2 directions

I am writing a formula to search data from a table like below:-

e.g. I want to find "John Mar-06" then it should come up 95 for me.

Name\Mth Jan-06 Feb-06 Mar-06 Apr-06 May-06
David 100 105 110 115 120
Dean 95 100 105 110 115
Henny 90 95 100 105 110
John 85 90 95 100 105
Sam 80 85 90 95 100
Tony 75 80 85 90 95

I tried to use vlookup & If statements (lookup = Name, If Date = Date), but
I couldn't do it.

Could any one help to solve my formula. Thank you very much.
