Looks for other files on startup

Hello all,

Each time I launch Excel by double-clicking on the worksheet I've been
programming in, it looks for a series of three other worksheets in various
locations. I saved dummy worksheets with those file names in those
locations, and excel opens all of them each time I open my project
worksheet.

What gives? THanks for the help.

You telling Excel to open these in code ?
What code do have in the first books Auto_Open routine?

Thanks for the replies. I've written no code for an Auto_Open macro and have
no text in the "Open all files in" box.

I have learned something, though.

If I right-click the spreadsheet icon for my project spreadsheet and click
"Open with ... Excel" then Excel loads only with that file (the one I want).
If I DOUBLE-CLICK on the spreadsheet icon instead, THAT's when Excel loads
with three other files instead of the one I've clicked on. Those three files
are in different directories on the hard drive.

I'm really stumped here.
