"Lookout" toolbar doesn't remember position

I'm using the "Lookout" search add-in for Outlook 2003. For some reason, the
Lookout toolbar always pops up in a specific location, shifting my other
toolbars down and putting itself on a blank row. If I reposition it, it
doesn't 'remember' where I left it -- it always appears in that one spot and
screws up all my other toolbars.

I've tried unchecking it, closing Outlook with it visible and not visible,
etc.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks!

That's how it's coded. You'd have to have the authors change things to
store/retrieve the position where you left the toolbar for what you want to
work.

Thanks for your reply, Ken. Actually, when I use Outlook 2003 on my User
Profile, the "Lookout" toolbar appears where I positioned it, and
'remembers'. But in Outlook under my wife's profile, it doesn't.

Any idea why this would happen with only one profile?

Not really but you can try finding and deleting the outcmd.dat file which
keeps all menu customizations and see if that helps. Another thing to try
would be to create a brand new profile for your wife (not copied from an
existing one) and seeing if that helps.
