Looking for tutorial access

Looking for tutorial on how to submit form results to a db on web site.
The idea I have to develop will keep stats for a ladies softball league and
each of the team captains will submit their stats thru a web page. Can
anyone offer a URL or something that will give me a "general idea" as to the
concept I am talking about. I have worked with basic access db's like form
submitting results and using a menu to display results according to criteria.
But I have not done this on a web site. any suggestions are appreciated.
