Looking for software to display books and turn pages by voice

I have installed Dragon Naturally Speaking on a WinXP computer for a
woman with no hands. She has requested software which will allow her
to read off the screen and enable her to turn pages through the voice
activation of Dragon (or alternative if there is something specific
for this activity).

On the face of it a pdf file with the cursor placed in the scroll down
bar (activated by "Mouse Click") should do what is needed.

Does anyone know of a better arrangement? Also is there a better file
option for this than pdf files?

Have looked at e-books Newsgroups but from what I see they are pdfs.

I have used VoiceFlux for such tasks. I think one of the built-in commands
is "Page Down".

Will download and see what it does. Are you aware whether it will
work at the same time that Dragon Naturally is running?

Also I wonder what programme, with books loaded, uses the page down
command? I assume from your wording that this is something you haven't
actually used?

Thank for the info.

I haven't used it for reading books and it's been a while since I used it at
all but you can pretty much map any program, menu command, or keyboard input
to a voice command of your choice. I don't recall but I belive you can
record mouse movements also. I mentioned "page down" because you said "a pdf
file with the cursor placed in the scroll down bar (activated by "Mouse
Click") should do what is needed." The same can be accomplished with the
"page down" key. Now that I think about it, it probably won't work with
dragon as it takes over your sound system for the most part. Good luck.
