Have you tried RegMagik? Can't remember the URL but google for it. The
author is giving a free reg code until the 11th Dec I think.
Brilliant programme though not sure of the snapshot bit. I think there is a
programme called Reg Snapshot but am not sure if it is free.

Is that special still on? If not, one can search for an earlier freeware
release.

Regmagik is a registry editor which makes a good companion program for
working with registry snapshot reports. It's very instant to copy a regkey
from the report to clipboard and then CTRL-G it in Regmagik for appropriate
registry display. To then do whatever with that key: study it over/ bookmark
it/ export it/ delete it/ etc.

You probably mean Regshot... It's free and open-source.

I went to the home page:
http://users.aol.com/bguzner/software/

Don't see the free reg code mentioned. On the buy online page is a code, but it
looks like a 15 day trial?

Look in the Help/About in Regmagik and drop the author an email with the
code you see there.

Hi:

I am looking for a registry program that must be:

a. A single file that does not need to be installed.
b. Ability to take a "snapshot" of the registry and compare it with previous
"snapshots" and tell we what has changed.

TIA, Regards
