looking for keyboard bangers AND a kids typing program

thanks susan; there was one i had awhile back that i can't find
anymore, it was one that displayed a letter of the english alphabet, a
picture corresponding with that letter, changed the back ground color,
and the name of the picture was spoken by a female (with a strong
british accent if i recall).

Ah so - you're looking for something for young kids.

I tried Googling for Freeware + "learn the alpabet" - and got some promising looking links. :)

i've got kid genius and its an awesome program, there is one also
calleed "2+2" i do belive (the cursor looks like a lady bug) that my
daughter just loves! (she's got this thing for ladybugs)

When Tux Paint 0.9.14 was released last October, I submitted it to this
site within a month. They apparently ignored me. It makes me wonder,
is the site even maintained? Or do they simply ignore software submissions
without even responding?

Maybe I should go submit again (8 months later) for good measure. :^)
