Looking for IDE

I just upgraded my MBO to "SOYO_P4VTP"everything works fine,
except when I boot and after loging in the computer tells it is looking
for the primary and secondary IDE chanells.I took them out in Device
Manager, nothing doing it is still looking for the IDE. thanks
