Looking for icons

Mike

When I click start>Turn off computer, then there is a standby ,turn off and
restart icon. What folder can I find these in? I have searched and can't
find them.

I would like to use them on my desktop for my shutdown and reboot short
cuts.

Thanks for any help.

Mike, drag the file to your Desktop, then create a shortcut. Right click the
icon, select PROPERTIES and then click CHANGE ICON. You will get a message
about the file not containing icons. Select one from the default folder (
%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll.)This is where you will find the SHUTDOWN
icon residing (and many others).

I doubt that they're in icon format.
Go to Start, Shut down computer, capture each one with Snag-It, save the
images, open them with Irfanview & save as .ico

Or if that's too much like hard work, I'll do it for you.

Sorry, but I don't have time to hunt around. If you really need the icons
they will be there somewhere. But doesn't it seem a lot of bother for a
process that takes three clicks?

Doesn't it take a lot of bother for someone who doesn't know how to read the
original post to answer the question in the first place?

Troll or attitude problem?
I offered a solution - no response from you, you only appear to be
interesting in knocking posters.
You don't deserve a solution.
