Looking for a windows add-on

Hi,

I am looking for an add-on for windows 2k pro which would
allow me to switch from a user's account to the admin's
account without having the user shutdown all his/her apps
when I need to make adjustments on the system. I have
heard that there something out there that is available
but have been unable to find it. Does anyone know about
this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi, apart from XP,
Start the RunAs service, and choose "Run As ..." when you shift-right-click on
your application. No add-ons needed, but it will not work with Windows Explorer.
there is also a command line utility called runas.exe (resource kit?)

That much I already knew but my employers do not to
invest in an XP migration, so...
