Looking for a small popup blocker.

I am looking for a small popup blocker.

At present I am using Popup Ad Filter from http://www.meaya.com/ which is payware and
which takes up just a little over 1 meg on my hard drive and when I got it it blocked all
popups practically without me having to set anything up other then installing it or
without me entering a bunch of urls and stuff. But lately it has been letting more and
more popups/unders through and they have not come out with an update in ages.

Anyone know of a SMALL, EASY-TO-USE popup blocker that can install and it will catch about
all without entering a bunch of info?? I just want it for popups and not ads in web pages
and all that stuff and something with a small footprint.

TIA

http://toolbar.google.com/
It's free and takes seconds to install

It has popupblocker on the English (=default) language version

And hours to get rid of.

Second that. I tried it and did not keep it around. Would prefer a blocker that did not
alter my browser, toolbar, etc. Would like a so-called seperate blocker as described
below.

I've used Pop-up Stopper Free Edition with success. You can find it
here http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree.html. Or you could just
switch to Firefox as a browser. I think if you're using XP and install
SP2 it changes IE as gives you built-in popup blocking (if I'm wrong
about how this happens someone will let me know...plus I guess IE is OT
here). So as you see there are a few ways to make popups a thing of the
past (almost).

Looks like what I am looking for. I looked at the pro and it has all the bloated extras I
do not want. I just want a popup blocker.

Thanks much Jim

I checked it out at test popup page http://www.meaya.com/testpop/ and it blocked all the
popups except the ones that pop up when you leave a site. I blocked that one be leaving
my old blocker running at the same time and between the 2 of them they caught all the
popups and unders at the sites I checked them with.

Thanks again.

Not really small, and not really a popup blocker, but Mozilla Firefox
copes quite well with unwanted popups.

Try SmartPopupBlocker.
You will have to Google to find it. Sorry about that.

Freesurfer Companion - not real small, but pretty powerful, with some
pretty good additional tools:
